Easy to Recover Data from Formatted USB Flash Drives

Data recovery is the process of restoring data that has been lost, accidentally deleted, corrupted or made inaccessible. Any file that’s deleted actually stays on your drive until it’s overwritten with another file. This means that if you act fast, you actually have a pretty good chance of getting the file back. Similar to deleting a file, formatting a file system destroys information about the previous files and structure of the disk.
Just like a hard drive, a USB flash drive stores all its data in the memory & the operating system can fetch this data when required to be accessed. Presuming you did not thoroughly erase the flash drive (full format), you are able to use a file recovery program to retrieve the files. As there is no recycle bin on the USB flash drive, you cannot restore them directly like you would other files on your local drives. But if you have made a backup, things will be easy. You just need to find the copy or log in the cloud storage to restore them with one click. If you are unfortunate enough to have no backup, you have to use a data recovery software which can restore the USB flash drive.
Here we would recommend H Data Recovery Software. It can recover lost photos, videos, documents, and emails from various data storage media, including internal/external hard drives, USB drives, SD card, digital cameras, iPods, CF cards, etc. It also supports memory card data recovery, CF card data recovery, external hard drive data recovery, memory sticks data recovery, etc. It also has a free trial version for you to scan and preview all your lost files. Download the free trial of H Data Recovery and follow below guidance to undelete files from formatted USB flash drives.
How to recover or undelete files from  Formatted USB flash drives
1. Choose a USB file recovery mode.  Connect your USB drive to your computer and make sure it can be detected as a drive. Then launch the H data recovery, and you’ll get the interface as follows. Choose the Flash Disk recovery mode to continue.
2. Select your USB flash drive to scan.  In the window appears, simply select a USB drive to scan for lost files. Keep the USB Flash Drive well connected during the scan process. It may take a couple of seconds to minutes, depending on the file size.
3. Preview found USB files. The files that H Data Recovery has found from the USB on your computer will be displayed in a list. Some files may not have their original filenames. You can preview the files to make sure it is not corrupt. You can use the search bar and filters to locate your desired file more quickly.
4. Recover all deleted USB files. To recover your USB files, check the boxes before each file and click the Next button the on the bottom of the main interface. Then every deleted file you selected will be recovered to your designated location. It is highly suggested that such location is on a different drive other than the current one to avoid data overwriting.
